Dhar (MP). Satyagraha continued for the sixth consecutive day with fast unto death by the flood affected people of Sardar Sarovar Dam in Chikhalda of Nisarpur of the district. During this, the health of Narmada Bachao Andolan leader Medha Patkar, who was on fast, deteriorated, after which a team of doctors from Barwani reached to examine her and did a health check-up. Patkar’s blood pressure was fluctuating. She is also having a lot of difficulty in speaking due to constant hunger and thirst. However, her intentions do not seem to be weakening amidst all this. Medha Patkar said that her movement will continue till the flood affected people are completely rehabilitated.
