The Saudi Roundabout by Studio Symbiosis is an urban intervention that rethinks a standard traffic junction as a visual landmark. Located within a 2,912 sqm area, the design introduces a sculptural form that can be viewed from multiple directions. The concept draws from regional patterns and abstract geometry, interpreted in a contemporary way. Instead of literal references, the structure uses flowing forms to create a sense of movement. The installation responds to changing light conditions during the day, while lighting elements enhance visibility at night. This allows it to remain noticeable in both daytime and evening settings. The project also reflects a broader approach where infrastructure is treated as part of the public realm rather than only a functional element. It demonstrates how small-scale interventions can contribute to the visual character of a city.
