Republican candidate Donald Trump has announced that if he wins the presidential election, he has shortlisted some names for who will be his Vice President, which also includes two Indian-origin leaders. Indian-American biotech businessman and politician Vivek Ramaswamy and former Indian-origin MP Tulsi Gabbard are among the names chosen by former President Donald Trump as his potential vice-president. During an event, Trump said that he took the names of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and Vivek Ramaswamy.
